This is an oil painting by Kevin Beers. Kevin’s Monhegan landscapes, with their clear, striking depiction of the island’s light in all seasons, have been featured at the Lupine Gallery on Monhegan for over 12 years.

Alison, I really like this one. Color sensitivity, broken brushwork, composition, handling of the sky and distant treeline…everything. Is that Lisa or Greta in blue?
