See the green bleep?

I was fortunate once upon a lifetime ago to live for one blessed year on the isle of Key West, way down at the “other end” of our East-Coast-of-American world. There, I was indeed lucky enough to see the “Green Flash”, as we called it there, on a few sweet occasions – this was long ago, before massive changes to Mallory Square changed sunset viewing into something far less whimsical than it now is, from what I hear. …But, I always assumed that this was strictly a tropical region phenom – does your photo/question mean such can be seen up here in these parts? I am mighty curious to know if any one out there has witnessed this bit of natural mystery in these parts!
