The Monhegan Museum displays a wide variety of exhibits relevant to the natural, social, industrial, cultural, and artistic history of Monhegan. It is a community built museum with a commitment to preserving, documenting, and exhibiting materials and artworks that convey the unique and appealing life of Monhegan Island. Two well known artists’ house and studio are part of the National Trust for Historic Preservation’s Historic Artist’s Homes and Studios Program. Tours are available throughout the summer. See website for schedule.
